Over a century later, and the work floor of the Council forge houses over 500 cumulative years of axe and tool making experience. Located still on the Council family plot on Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina; Council forges axes meant for the North American wilderness. Council axes are forged from 5160 steel and handled with American Hickory to create heirloom grade axes that match function and form in equal parts.
